Bills Mafia is known to be one of the most ruthless fan bases in the league, but the group may have gone too far this time around.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes, was among those celebrating the result of the 2025 AFC championship game. Kansas City remained perfect against Buffalo in the Mahomes-Josh Allen era, handing the Bills a 32-29 loss in the conference championship to advance to Super Bowl 59, knocking out Allen and Co. once again.
However, after the game, Mahomes’ significant other made sure to circle back and call out Bills fans for a taunt at the direction of her husband that she felt went over the line.

Brittany Mahomes calls out Bills fans
Brittany Mahomes took to social media to call out a picture that made its way online that was a direct shot at her husband.
In the photo, a Kermit the Frog doll is dressed up as the face of the Kansas City franchise, and it appears to be hanging from a rope wrapped around its neck while tied to a crane to elevate it into the air.
“Do we remember this Buffalo?” Mahomes said in an Instagram story. “Absolutely disgusting…So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.”

The image was not new, as it was taken at a tailgate in November when the Chiefs and Bills met in the regular season. It’s clear that Brittany kept the receipts and did not hesitate to send a message of her own to the Buffalo fans.
She also made sure to show her support for the Chiefs faithful, thanking the Kansas City followers for their “concerns” over the quarterback. Mahomes dealt with an ankle injury to end the regular season, but it has not hampered his play in the playoffs so far.

As for the quarterback, he appeared to have a little bit of fun with the Kermit image. The famous Muppets puppet is no new comparison for the three-time Super Bowl champion, as fans have compared the voices of the two in the past. So the QB posted a meme of Kermit drinking tea, signaling that the Kansas City star is minding his own business on his way to New Orleans.

Opposing fan bases can take all the digs they want. Nothing fazed the Chiefs the previous two years winning the Super Bowl, and only time will tell if that follows the same script in 2025 with a three-peat.
