His father is Mexican and her mother is Cuban and she lived in both countries growing up, until she eventually immigrated to Miami when she was just 5 years old, with her father joining them around 18 months later.

Reality television show “The X Factor” in 2012 was crucial for her career, due to the fact that after she was eliminated following her audition, the show brought her back alongside four other contestans who formed “Fifht Harmony” a girl group that would end up winning the third place in the competition.
