After its opening two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA Tour moves to the West Coast with the 2025 American Express set to take place in La Quinta, California.
This week’s tournament is one of the few events played across multiple courses. Since 2016, the rotation has included Pete Dye’s PGA West Stadium Course, PGA West’s Nicklaus Tournament Course, and La Quinta Country Club, and the same trio will feature again this year.
World No 7 Wyndham Clark and veteran Justin Thomas will lead a largely American field, since most of the European players will be participating at the Dubai Desert Classic. Having won the event as an amateur last year, Nick Dunlap will be looking to defend the title.
