The Google Street View or Google Maps app is one of the most used tools in the world as it allows users to see places around the world from your cell phone or computer.
A fleet of Google cars circulate all over the world to collect images of streets, roads, squares and others places on our planet.
Sometimes, these images produce funny or surreal moments, while others capture creepy and strange images that leave users wondering what it is they are seeing.
A strange creature in a Utah city
This is what happened with some of the images that were recently captured in the United States, specifically in the state of Utah. Some users of the application were puzzled by a creepy Google Street View image.
In it, a half-naked creature with long, flexible arms and legs can be seen apparently running through the countryside near the Bears Ears Visitor Center in the city of Buff.
The images have caused a stir in the United States and some users on social media described the strange creature as “scary” and “crazy” or even “creepy”.
But the reality is that the creature isn’t something supernatural. According to the ‘New York Post’ the creature is actually a kind of scarecrow used in the area to scare away animals and unwanted visitors in the city of Buff.
