Prince Jackson and Mike Tyson’s conversation
Prince Jackson appeared on former boxer Mike Tyson‘s podcast Hotboxin’, and, during the conversation, Tyson discussed the late singer’s skin tone and pointed out that people thought Michael Jackson was changing his skin because he wanted to be white.
“Everybody thought he was changing his skin because he wanted to be white, but he was changing it because he wanted to glow,” the former boxer explained.
“He wanted to be a light, he wanted to shine.”

Then, Prince Jackson added that his father talked to him about vitiligo, a skin condition, and how to deal with it.
“He had a lot of insecurity around looking blotchy in his appearance,” Jackson said.
“So he wanted to see if he could smooth out his appearance, to help with his security on his physical appearance.”
