Long-Platt publicly announced his passing through Facebook, expressing the profound loss felt by their family. “Our life will never be the same. I LOVE YOU ANTHONY FOREVER,” she wrote, asking for privacy and understanding during this difficult time.
Celebrating the life of an ATL icon
Big Oomp Records, the label that helped launch DJ Unk’s career, shared a heartfelt tribute to the artist, calling him a “true ATL legend” and highlighting his contributions to the music industry. In a social media post, the label emphasized that his energy and creativity left an enduring mark on the global music scene.
