EA Sports College Football 25 officially hit the gaming market on Friday, July 19 but on which consoles can you pick the game up? Can it be downloaded to PC?

Prices range from $69.99 for the Standard Edition on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S stores, whilst the Deluxe Edition is priced at $99.99. If fans really want to go all-in, they can purchase the Madden MVP package which includes both EA Sports College Football 25 and one of EA Sports’ flagship titles in Madden 25 for around $150.
Unfortunately, since NCAA Football 14, the previous name of the title, PC users have been unable to play the game despite being estimated to account for somewhere in the region of 892m-1.7 billion of the gaming population.
EA Sports have never confirmed why they haven’t created a PC-compatible version of the game but it is thought to relate to licensing and protecting themselves from lawsuits due to the risk of modders adding athletes into the game.
However, there could be hope on the horizon as Madden returned to PC in 2018 after an 11-year absence suggesting that Electronic Arts are beginning to understand how to incorporate PC’s demands whilst ensuring it remains legally safe.
