In a 2016 interview with W Magazine, she provided an explanation that revealed an interesting aspect of her personality.
Despite being naturally shy, she sees exposing herself to thousands of people as a form of shock therapy.
“I am so shy and, at the same time, I kind of expose myself literally to thousands of people,” she said.
“I don’t really understand why I do that.”
However, Green has turned down some roles due to the nudity involved. For instance, she almost refused to feature in ‘Casino Royale’ because she initially believed it would only require wearing a bikini.
It was only after reading the script and realizing that her character had depth, sensitivity and secrets that she changed her mind and accepted the part.

In 2003, Green made her film debut in ‘The Dreamers,’ directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. She portrayed Isabelle, a Parisian student involved in a love triangle with her brother and an American student.
Twenty years later, she is set to release ‘The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan’ and ‘The Three Musketeers: Milady’ in which she plays the character of Milady de Winter, a spy for Cardinal Richelieu.
