Gabriela Cavallin, the ex of Brazilian footballer Antony, has given an interview to Record TV to talk about the accusation of “domestic violence, threats and bodily harm” she filed against the Manchester United forward who is a Brazil international.
The popular DJ, who lived with Antony in Amsterdam when he played for Ajax and in Manchester when he joined United, says she was first abused last year in Brazil.
“He grabbed me by both arms, threw me on the bed and jumped on top of me. When he did that my silicone prosthesis dislocated, making it so hard for me to breathe that I felt like I was going to die,” she told Roberto Cabrini on ‘No Domingo Espetacular’.
Cavallin explained that she needed an operation with more than 40 stitches inside her breast to correct the displaced breast prosthesis.
Cavallin alleges Antony threw water on her and cut her
The woman alleges that Antony held her at her home to prevent her from leaving: “He broke my suitcase, took my bag, my passport. He broke my mobile phone, he wouldn’t let me go.
“I was imprisoned from 22:00 until almost 03:30. I call it private captivity. I just wanted to get out of there and he told me that I wouldn’t leave until I erased everything.”
Gabriela Cavallin reported that she intends to file complaints against Antony in England as well: “I will do whatever it takes. I will go to England to denounce the aggression, the lack of help, the illegal detention, the psychological abuse, everything he did to me.”
“It was my best dream and then it became my worst nightmare,” she said.
Uol Esporte’ reports that Antony refused to comment on the serious accusations against him by Cavallin, which included saying: “He threw water on me, started kicking me, grabbed me by the hair, hit my head and cut me”.
Manchester United are already investigating the complaint.
