Last Sunday’s game in which the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 32-29 was the most-watched AFC Championship Game in history with 57.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen, a media audience measurement company.
This broke the record set the previous year by the AFC title clash between Kansas City and the Baltimore Ravens.The Chiefs won the final with 55.5 million viewers.
The Kansas City Chiefs have increased their popularity in the NFL after winning three Super Bowl titles since 2021 with the prominence of their quarterback Patrick Mahomes. In contrast, the Eagles-Commanders was the least watched since 2019.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will play Super Bowl LIX on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Last year’s final between the Chiefs and 49ers set an audience record of 123.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen.
