Detroit Tiger’s Akil Baddoo ran as quickly as he could trying to steal second base but instead of his hand touching the base he was greeted by a ball in the groin that based on his expression caused a great deal of pain.

Cleveland Guardians catcher Mike Zunino quickly read Akil Baddoo’s intention and as soon as the pitcher threw the ball, Zunino grabbed it like a hand grenade and quickly sent it flying to second base where Andres Gimenez was waiting for it to take out Baddoo.
Unfortunately for Akil Baddoo, the ball was supposed to be aimed at the glove, however, his speed was against him this time and got there earlier than Gimenez could grab the ball and went straight to his privates, adding insult to injury, the ball bounced right into the second baseman’s glove and ruled as an out.
