In a big day for Spain, No.3 seed Carlos Alcaraz will take to Rod Laver Arena on Sunday in a bid to get past Great Britain’s Jack Draper and continue his efforts to complete a career Grand Slam.
The pair have met on three previous occasions, with Draper winning their last encounter, although the Brit has never beaten Alcaraz on hard court.

Over at Margaret Court Arena, Spain’s Paula Badosa – in the fourth round of the AO for only the second time – faces Serbia’s Olga Danilovic, who is already in new territory here at Melbourne Park.

They’re followed by Badosa’s compatriot Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who will be hoping for a shorter match when he meets 2023 semifinalist Tommy Paul, the Spaniard having spent more than ten hours on court already at AO 2025, including two five set marathons.
