Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins made a memorable entrance before the divisional clash against the Baltimore Ravens. Hollins arrived at Highmark Stadium wearing a bathing suit, an open Hawaiian shirt, and a straw hat, defying the 22-degree Fahrenheit weather in Western New York.
To complete his beach-inspired look, Hollins carried a towel over his shoulder and applied sunscreen to his nose, making a lighthearted statement amidst the high-stakes atmosphere of the game.

A unique lifestyle: barefoot and unconventional
Hollins is no stranger to eccentric choices. He has famously gone barefoot for the past several years, embracing what he describes as a more natural way of living. In an interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia, Hollins explained that his barefoot philosophy stems from meeting Australian practitioners of “holistic grounding exercises.”
“It has been great for me,” Hollins said. “If everybody walked around with mittens on their hands, people would think it’s insane. Yet we wear shoes and wonder why our feet aren’t strong or why we have ankle problems.”
Beyond skipping shoes, Hollins avoids using dining utensils and refuses to eat soup, adding another layer to his unconventional persona.
A player beloved by his team
While his lifestyle may be unconventional, Hollins is widely admired by his teammates. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady described him as “one of my favorite people I’ve ever met,” while quarterback Josh Allen expressed his love for Hollins‘ positive energy.
Hollins joined the Bills in the offseason on a one-year, $2.6 million contract. He has made a strong impact with 378 receiving yards and a career-high five touchdowns during the regular season.
