As the 2023-2024 NBA season creeps up on us, the popular NBA 2K video game franchise is gearing up for release. NBA 2K24 is set to release on September 8 and will feature Kobe Bryant on the cover of all NBA versions of the game. It will be the 25th anniversary of the franchise.
Every year, fans clamor for gameplay changes and new modes, but ratings for their favorite players are always a hot button topic. Today, NBA 2K has released the overall ratings for the top players in the game, and we have a new king on the throne.
Nikola Jokic sits alone at the top of the player ratings with a 98 overall. The 2022-2023 NBA MVP and NBA Champion earned the rating with a legendary season. Jokic was rated 96 overall to start last season, tied with five other players and trailing Giannis Antetokounmpo for first place.
