The recent decision by Canadian singer Justin Bieber to unfollow his former mentor and friend Usher on Instagram has generated great concern among his fans, unleashing speculation about their relationship

Among the people Justin has unfollowed are Allison Kaye, his former manager at SB Projects; Kenny Hamilton, his former bodyguard from 2009-2010; Ryan Good, his former “style coach” and best man; and Poo Bear, songwriter and producer with whom he worked on albums such as Journals, Purpose and Changes.
Fan reactions were not long in coming. On Reddit, many expressed their thoughts on the change in Justin’s social media.
Some users suggested that celebrities who don’t follow anyone can avoid unnecessary speculation, while others were concerned about the people Justin has left behind
“Come on Justin, get well!” commented one of the fans, while another expressed concern by saying: “Maybe he wants to distance himself from people in his past who treated him badly.”
Usher’s snub is nothing new
This is not the first episode that has generated uncertainty regarding Justin’s relationship with Usher. In 2024, the singer also rejected Usher’s invitation to participate in the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, although he posted a message on Instagram to pay tribute to his friend, writing: “I LOVE YOU MY BROTHER.”
Despite the rumors and speculation, Justin has been focused on his personal life. In August, together with his wife Hailey Bieber, he welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber
Justin shared the news on social media with a sweet photo of Hailey touching the newborn’s tiny foot, announcing to the world the baby’s name with an emotional message: “Welcome home, Jack Blues Bieber.”
