Ryan Reynolds has been thoroughly enjoying his time after the MCU’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiered last weekend. The film has been in theatres for an entire week and it already made nearly $700 millon at the global box office. Amongst the many weapons Reynolds has to promote the movie, his social media outlets are perhaps amongst the most important. With humor as his biggest weapon, Ryan is making sure he mocks co-star Hugh Jackman as much as possible. Ryan Reynolds’ ‘before & after’ body transformation joke on Hugh Jackman
At the start of the movie, one of the main opening action sequences is Deadpool killing multiple TVA agents. They get to him because he traveled to the place where Logan died in the Fox Universe, that event took place in the 2017 ‘Logan’ film directed by James Mangold. Deadpool doesn’t believe Wolverine died so he desecrates his body from the grave where he was buried only to find out that the remains of Logan are there. A full adamantium skeleton Deadpool takes out of the grave and uses to kill all those TVA agents later. Ryan Reynolds thought it would be hilarious to make a body transformation joke about Hugh Jackman.
In a short tweet, all Ryan Reynolds did was place an image of the prop skeleton on one side and Hugh Jackman’s chizzled physique from the final sequence in the movie. Every single time the Australian actor gets to play this character, he goes into a wild body transformation that takes him months to achieve. Ryan Reynolds didn’t have to show his abs as much as his co-star, which makes this even funnier. He writes: “The complete body transformation of Hugh Jackman was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen. #DeadpoolAndWolverine.”
