The bodybuilding world has lost another member unexpectedly and early. Illia Golem, known to all as ‘The Mutant’, has died at the age of 36 for reasons that are still unknown.
Despite not being a professional, he was one of the most followed figures due to his incredible physical condition, and he weighed 165 kilos due to the high daily calorie intake he consumed.
The first hypotheses place him as a new victim of the many substances that specialty athletes must consume, such as anabolic steroids, steroids or the famous synthol. He joins the already known losses of other bodybuilders such as Matheus Pavlak, Cintia Goldani and Antonio Leso Bras de Souza.
Golem and the dangers of the incredible daily intake of calories
Golem had already admitted in the past that his way of living was not healthy and that, of course, it was not something to recommend. However, he did not stop consuming enormous amounts of calories daily, exceeding 16,000 and, in a high percentage, with a protein figure that, in high doses, has fatal consequences on organs such as the liver.
His images on social networks were popular, in which his spectacular physical condition could be appreciated, with a weight that sometimes reached 165 kilos despite his 1.85 meters in height. Now, his social networks, such as his TikTok profiles, have been filled in his latest videos with messages of condolences and sadness for what happened.
While the real reasons for his death are being clarified, his followers have not missed the opportunity to show their pain for losing Golem at only 36 years old. “Another bodybuilder who dies too soon” or ‘Fly high’ are just some of the messages that can be read in his most recent posts.
