Indy 500 is back with its 107th edition on May 28th, 2023 at 11 a.m. while the green flag will be dropped at about 12:45 p.m.. Marcus Ericsson is the last year’s champion for the Chip Ganassi team which also opened last year’s season, winning the respected Firestone Grand Prix in St. Petersburg.
In second place was Pato O’ward who was trailing the returning champion Marcus Ericsson followed by Tony Kanaan who won the Indy 500 back in 2013.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway opened its doors in May welcoming diehard fans who want to see their favorite driver. For this edition of qualifiers, the appointment is for May 28th.

The 2.5-mile oval 500-Mile Race is on May 28’s schedule will be as follows:
- 5 a.m.: Garage opens
- 6 a.m.: Gates open
- 6:30 a.m.: Tech inspection
- 8:15 a.m.: Cars pushed to pit lane
- 10:30 a.m.: Cars on the starting grid
- 11:47 a.m.: Driver introductions
- 12:38 p.m.: Command to start engines
- 12:45 p.m.: Green flag for the 105th Indy 500

The exciting Indy 500 will be broadcasted by Peacock and NBC in May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is ready to drive the pace car on Sunday the 28th and will look to win the race as it will be one of the event’s crossover sports figures. Haliburton who is only 23 years old will lead the field and has already performed his obligatory test drive.
