Preparing for an IRS appointment
There are certain documents that have to be brought to an IRS meeting and also items that should not be brought. You must bring a current government-issued photo ID, a taxpayer identification number such as a Social Security number, and any relevant tax documents. You cannot bring food and drinks, weapons or a camera.
