Defense Denies Allegations Amid Emotional Testimonies
“I believe she was trying to do all this to mess up my career,” Peppers testified, as reported by The Boston Globe. During cross-examination, his attorney, Marc Brofsky, questioned the woman’s injuries and motives, highlighting the $9.5 million civil lawsuit she filed against Peppers.
Videos presented by prosecutors showed Peppers repeatedly asking the woman to leave his house, but his defense argued these clips did not substantiate the claims of physical harm.

Peppers‘ legal battle has had significant implications for his career. Following the incident, he was placed on the NFL commissioner’s exempt list, causing him to miss seven games this season.
