Streamers have become some of the most influential figures in today’s society. Some accumulate millions of followers thanks to their content, which means that everything they post or do quickly spreads across various social media platforms, making it accessible to a global audience.
For this reason, many people believe that streamers should be cautious with their actions and set an example, as a significant portion of their audience consists of young people or even children.
While everyone is free to act as they see fit, it’s important to remember that these individuals are public figures who may serve as role models for some, and therefore, they should exercise a certain level of caution.
Unfortunately, it is increasingly common to see streamers or influencers engaging in questionable and irresponsible behavior. Many have been seen using drugs live or engaging in other reckless activities, which has drawn criticism from the public.
However, this doesn’t seem to bother them much, as they continue to generate income from such content.
Streamer Nearly Kills His Cameraman
The latest incident involves an American streamer, Jack Doherty. He was live streaming while driving his luxury McLaren on the road.
During the stream, viewers could see him using his cell phone while behind the wheel, a highly dangerous act, especially given that it was a rainy day with poor driving conditions.
Unfortunately, these warning signs materialized when the streamer suddenly lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Fortunately, both he and his cameraman managed to escape the vehicle, although the cameraman was injured, his face covered in blood.
The live stream continued without interruption, showing debris scattered across the road and the front of the McLaren completely destroyed.
What could have been a tragic accident luckily did not result in worse consequences. However, the streamer’s reckless behavior did not go unpunished, as he was banned from the Kick platform (which is known for being relatively lenient with its content) as a penalty for his dangerous actions.
Later, updates on his other social media accounts revealed that both he and his cameraman went to the hospital and are in good health.
