Jamie Foxx is one of the most recognizable actors of the 21st century, starring in classic films such as Django Unchained and Any Given Sunday, however the 53-year-old’s personal life is much more of a mystery.
Foxx has never married and he believes that the kind of traditional lifestyle that comes with matrimony isn’t for him.
“The traditional cookie-cutter lifestyle with the 2.5 children, the wood paneling on the station wagon and the cottage, I don’t think that was for me,” Foxx explained.
Foxx has never let this attitude disrupt his romantic life though, father two children from his relationships with Connie Kline and Kristin Grannis.
His eldest daughter, Corrine Foxx is 27, whilst his youngest is quite a lot younger at 12.
Foxx believes his father/daughter relationship is stronger due to a lack of marriage
One interesting point the actor made came when he suggested that him electing not to marry either mother of his two daughters has actually contributed to him having stronger relationships with both.
“I don’t know what that is, I just know that it is different but it’s a whole lot of love,” he told E-News Daily Pop.
“When a marriage ends, the kids get fractures from their families.
“They just love their daddy and I just keep moving.”
Foxx is not currently engaged in a relationship in the public eye, with his long-term partnership with Katie Holmes coming to an end in 2019.
His family, though, isn’t putting pressure on him to marry, with there a clear understanding that this is how he wants to live his life.
