Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are no more for the second time, and this will surely be the last time.
Having called off an engagement earlier in their lives, the pair reunited and later married in 2022, but just two years later the marriage fell apart.
After months of media reports claiming that they were on the rocks, the pair did eventually split with the divorce filing arriving last week.
Lopez – and indeed Affleck – is now back on the market, and one betting site is already taking bets on her next celebrity boyfriend. BetOnline has rapper Eminem at +800, and much due to a song he once wrote named ‘I’m Back’.
He rapped in the song: “Cause if I ever stuck it to any singer in showbiz, it’d be Jennifer Lopez and, Puffy, you know this.”
Elsewhere, Alex Rodriguez is at +1000, while Matt Damon is at a very large +5000. Damon is close friends with Affleck, making it a real long-shot. The odds and celebrities only get more ridiculous from there.
As for Affleck, the oddsmaker have Jennifer Garner and Emily Ratajkowski at +400 and +500, respectively, while Kardashian sisters Kim and Kourtney are at +1000, with Khloe at +1200.
The divorce
A source told Fox Digital last week that Lopez is ‘devastated’ by the divorce and that she ‘gave it her all to make it work’.
Another source added that Affleck “threw in the towel a long time ago.” Lopez was critical of Affleck in her documentary “The Greatest Love Story of All Time.” Affleck later said that he respected Lopez’s creativity, but it always seemed as though such public airings did not go down well with the actor.
