Kevin Costner and Jennifer Lopez‘s end-of-year meeting with more friends in Aspen, Colorado, had a positive impact on the Yellowstone actor and reportedly encouraged him to get in shape.
According to a source from In Touch, Costner, 70, plans to increase his appeal and get in shape, inspired by JLo.
“Kevin stays pretty slim and healthy, but he’s now on a mission to put on some more muscle and see how fit he can get this year,” the source revealed, adding that “He wants to be able to take his shirt off and show off a six-pack like he used to do in his heartthrob days and his trainer has told him it’s entirely possible to achieve, even at his age, so he’s pretty motivated.”

The In Touch source went on to say that the reason Kevin Costner was motivated to get to work on looking good was because of the fit body that Jennifer Lopez has at 55, as well as her aura, which is “eternally youthful.”
“She’s one of the people who inspires him to go to the gym and prove that age is just a number,” the source said, while noting the other part that will be important for Costner to achieve his goal. “It’s going to take an enormous amount of dedication, and not just in the gym but also in the kitchen.”
According to reports, at the party that would have struck Kevin Costner, there were also other friends who believe that “they would be a super fun couple,” and a source from Life & Style in a January 15 publication, gave more details about the conversation.
“JLo expressed her love for Yellowstone, as well as her disappointment at Kevin’s departure, and he was hugely flattered,” the source revealed, adding that it wasn’t the only thing: “She was quick to let him know that she also loves Horizon, which went a long way to feeding his ego.”
