After Jennifer Lopez finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck just a few weeks ago, the pop star has reached out to Jessica Alba, who is also facing a separation from her husband Cash Warren.
Alba confirmed on Thursday via a statement that she and Warren had split after 16 years of marriage.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery and transformation for years, both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years, and now is the time to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,” Jessica wrote
“We are moving forward with love, kindness and mutual respect and will always be a family. Our children remain our top priority and we ask for privacy at this time,” the actress added

Along with 134,000 other followers, JLo subtly showed her solidarity with Alba by liking her post.
Alba and Warren met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004, before falling in love and marrying at the courthouse in May 2008. They share three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, seven.

Despite the impending separation, the divorce papers have not been filed with the relevant authorities due to the wildfires in Los Angeles for several days now, according to US Weekly.
“Cash has been slowly taking things out of the house, but since the fires, they have spent more time under the same roof as a family,” a source said. “They are there for each other right now as it is a very stressful time.”
It is said that Alba plans to keep the couple’s home in Beverly Hills, while she and Warren are working on everything behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, JLo finalized her divorce from Affleck 20 weeks after filing the paperwork on August 20, 2024, which also happened to be the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding.
