Pretty much all of the late night tv hosts are opposed to Donald Trump’s politics but the most critical is definitely Jimmy Kimmel. For many years, the famous comedian has been ruthless against the former president and he had been expecting an event like the one that just transpired on Thursday. As you may already know, Trump was just officially indicted for the ‘hush money’ case against former pornstar Stormy Daniels. This is the first time an American president is charged with an actual crime and Jimmy Kimmel had to celebrate.
In pure Donald Trump fashion, Jimmy had an American flag planted in the middle of his set and quickly approached to hug it. If that sounds familiar is because Donald Trump did the exact same thing during a public Republican event. Clearly, Kimmel is mocking the former president and is thoroughly enjoying what is happening to him right now. Kimmel is perhaps the one who goes after Trump with the harshest jokes despite having him as a guest in the program years ago. In fact, all of the late night prime time hosts have invited the former president but they distanced themselves from him as soon as he started running for office.
Other comedy shows are also mocking Donald Trump
Other shows are also mocking the president and definitely having a field day with him. Name the show, it doesn’t matter. Everybody wants in on the mockery and all of them are enjoying this day, celebrations are in order for all of them. But this doesn’t mean the former president is getting arrested or going to jail. All it means is that Trump will be in court and he will get a chance to defend himself.
However, this very well could be the precedent that jump starts many more legal cases against him over a variety of reasons. Trump has been accused of several different crimes that go from obstruction of justice, sedition, to sexual misconduct against several women. No matter the reason, Trump is getting sued from all sides.
