The Kansas City Chiefs are headed back to the Super Bowl for the fifth time in six seasons after they won the AFC Championship by defeating the Buffalo Bills 32-29 last Sunday.
The Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles – who beat the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game – and Kansas City’s looking to make history as the only team to win three Super Bowls in a row.
Super Bowl LIX will be a rematch of the championship game in 2023 when the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in a very exciting game that went down to the wire and that had some spectacular plays by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. One key player in that Super Bowl was wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who recorded seven catches on nine targets for 53 yards.

Smith-Schuster shows affection in front of a packed stadium
JuJu Smith-Schuster had a quite game against the Buffalo Bills with 2 receptions for 60 yards and no touchdowns. Despite having only three targets, the solid wide receiver was happy to go back to the Super Bowl after he was traded to the New England Patriots in 2023 but struggled with injuries and consistency. He signed with the Chiefs in August 2024.
Another person that was extremely happy to see Smith-Schuster back in the Super Bowl was his fiancee, Laura Kruk. She owns the brand LauraKrukFit. and describes herself as a “Women’s online fitness coach.” Her page features posts about fitness and diet tips, weight loss inspiration, and workout gear from her Amazon storefront.

Kruk posted a video on her Instagram where we can see the fitness influencer running on the field to embrace her fiancee. Smith-Schuster open his arms and picks her up, and he also took the opportunity to grab Kruk’s buttocks in front of a packed Arrowhead Stadium. “SUPER BOWL BOUND. I’m so proud of you. God is good!!!” Kruk wrote as a caption of the video.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is now 17-3 in the postseason
Sunday’s win moved Patrick Mahomes past Joe Montana for sole possession of the second-most postseason victories by a starting quarterback in NFL history on Sunday. Only legendary quarterback Tom Brady, with 35, owns more.
Mahomes led his sixth-career fourth-quarter comeback in the postseason, passing Montana for the second-most all-time. Only Brady recorded more in league history (with 9). Mahomes also now owns a winning record for his career in games that he trailed at some point in the fourth quarter at 27-26.

The former Texas Tech Red Raiders is now in line to make his fifth start in the Super Bowl, and once he does, he’ll join Brady and John Elway as the only quarterbacks in league history to do so. Additionally, Brady started his fifth Super Bowl when he was 34 years old, and Elway was 38. Mahomes is just 29.
