Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn’t necessarily known for his speed. Despite carrying a 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame, however, he is one of the most elusive players at the position.
MMG, a YouTuber who plays Madden, decided to put the QB up to the test earlier this year. He created a shorter and heavier version of Mahomes to gauge his performances against the elite NFL teams. The Chiefs quarterback would keep all other attributes, but now be 5-foot-10 and 400 pounds.
Mahomes, 27, managed to win league MVP in his first season as a Chiefs starter, so he was basically still a rookie. One year later, Kansas City won the Super Bowl with him under center.
In the simulation game, Mahomes won the Most Valuable Player award his rookie year, and then led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory the following year.
It’s safe to say that “Fatty Mahomes” would still win at least one ring, a testament to the quarterback’s greatness, because he has so many strengths that a couple of weaknesses would not affect him.

Mahomes is on the heavier side when it comes to QB body types, but is not “fat” by any means.
There are at least a handful of active quarterbacks who weigh more than Mahomes, including Josh Allen. Most of the heavier QBs are obviously also some of the tallest.
Mahomes is 60 pounds lighter than Jared “Hefty Lefty” Lorenzen, the heaviest quarterback to ever play in the NFL.
After retiring, Lorenzen reached up to 500 pounds in weight, and got started on a journey of self-improvement in 2017. He unfortunately died in 2019 at the age of 38 due to several kidney and heart issues.
