Finally, Kanye West has lost the power of his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, for now. The 47-year-old rapper decided on his own to deactivate his account, so he can practically return to the social network whenever he feels like it

Many would think that this would be it, but the reality is that it was just the beginning of a week of absolute madness for Kanye West. The rapper lost his mind writing many things out of the ordinary, he had no filter. From declaring himself a Nazi and telling about his love for Adolf Hitler, to messing with the Jews and his former friend Virgil Abloh.

Kanye says goodbye to X, but first leaves a message for Taylor Swift
That last day of “Ye” on the social network X, it was not recommended at all to look at his profile, as explicit content was everywhere, but in the afternoon he dedicated a message to all those who enjoyed the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX:
“If it’s about culture… why do we allow Taylor Swift to be seen on TV singing a song about beating up a black man and accusing him of things that can get a black man beat up for life?” Kanye reportedly said of Kendrick Lamar’s performance with a very blunt jibe at Taylor
Later, the 47-year-old rapper said goodbye to his followers on X, to announce that he was going to leave the social network:
“I am logging off Twitter. I thank Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” he posted in what would be his last post before deleting his account
Kanye and Taylor already have a history
We must go back to 2009, when Kanye West and Taylor Swift had their first run-in. The rapper sought to humiliate the singer after she received an MTV Video Music Awards. “Ye” took to the stage and claimed that Beyonce deserved the award. It was a surreal situation that would leave Swift, who was only 19 years old at the time, scarred
It took several years for them to settle their differences, but everything exploded again, as West mentioned Swift in his 2016 song “Famous“.
“For all my Southside n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous,” the song’s lyrics say
Taylor Swift said she never authorized Kanye West to use her in his song, but a recording of their phone conversation, released by Kim Kardashian, indicated otherwise. Swift later clarified that she had only agreed to be mentioned, not to be referred to as a “bitch”. The relationship between these two is more broken than ever and it doesn’t seem like they will ever be in contact again.
