Zara and Mike Tindall could soon follow in the footsteps of Harry and Meghan by leaving the United Kingdom and their royal duties behind.
Harry and Meghan made huge waves when they decided to rescind their royal status and move to California, and the drama has not stopped since.
Whilst the Tindall‘s may not get the same level of attention, it would be another blow for the British Royal Family for more people to leave the country.
Zara and Mike first met in Australia at the 2003 Rugby World Cup and have often referred to Australia as their home away from home.
Now, the bookmakers think that they are almost certainly going to be moving to Australia permanently.
Casinos.com’s James Leyfield commented: “During their latest Australian trip, Zara admitted the couple ‘couldn’t ask for a better way to start the year.’ The pair’s connection to Australia is deeply rooted.”
He recounted their romantic beginnings: “They first met in Sydney in 2003-introduced by Zara‘s cousin, Prince Harry-while Mike was playing rugby for England during the World Cup and Zara was on a gap year.”
Leyfield added: “Despite a low point for Mike, having just been dropped ahead of the semi-final, the pair hit it off, with their relationship blossoming over a ‘boozy lunch.’ Mike went on to regain his place in the starting line-up for England’s iconic World Cup final victory against Australia. Their story almost reads like a fairy tale-what better way to begin a new chapter than by returning to where it all started?”
They could be leaving the UK
Many have thought that Mike and Zara will step up their royal duties to help the likes of Prince William.
“They enjoy the very best of both worlds,” royal commentator Jennie Bond told The Mirror, highlighting their non-titled status yet significant Royal ties. She said: “Although they don’t have titles, they obviously have the cachet of being so much part of the extended Royal Family. They have managed to use that commercially without getting into too much bother.”
