Father of NBA stars Lonzo and LaMelo Ball has gone through a massive journey leading his children through their young careers in basketball. LaVar Ball had three boys, LiAngelo is the only one who still hasn’t made it to the NBA but all of them are set for life thanks to what their father has done for them. He made sure to build a successful brand with their last name that was already a local cultural phemenon good-enough to make the family wealthy. That system set by LaVar Ball is making his children’s lives less complicated and him a multi millionaire. Although the two sons who are playing in the NBA are currently injured, LaVar believes both Lonzo and LaMelo are coming back stronger.
LaVar Ball already feels like he won in life
This system LaVar Ball created for his children is the main reason he is not worried about any of them, they are all three set for life. Even if LiAngelo Ball doesn’t make it to the NBA, he is already making decent money from other ventures. These injuries, LaVar trusts both of his sons have what it takes to come back from their respective injuries. Whie LaMelo recovers from a serious ankle injury right now. Lonzo hasn’t played a game in two years and needs to return as soon as possible. Melo has been the only one who looks like All-Star level and may have a brilliant career. But for LaVar Ball, there are more important things in life to not worry about with his children.
Speking to CBS Sports, LaVar Ball said: “Well, mentally, they got a strong mindset. They Balls. So they’re going to come back. They’re going to rehab. They’re going to do their thing. As long as my boys are taking care of themselves and doing what they’re supposed to do, and get to do something that they love to do for as long as they can, it’s a beautiful thing. A lot of people don’t get this opportunity, and I look at it with a different perspective, which is, A) even conditioning and even coming back, at least you get to do something that you love to do. As a parent, you give your kids — I think the bottom line is you just want them to take care of themselves after we go on. As long as they can do that, we feel good about raising them. So if you don’t give them education, you’ve got to give them a trade.”
