Disaster struck the James family this week after LeBron James’ son Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during basketball practice.
The 18-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital, and thanks to treatment on the scene and at the hospital, he is now said to be out of danger, moving off the ICU ward.
It was a shocking piece of news for the basketball world, with James a real NBA prospect, but father LeBron and his family will have been rocked on a personal – and indeed more important – level.

Who are LeBron James’ family?
LeBron married childhood sweetheart Savannah James in 2013. The couple have three children, including sons LeBron ‘Bronny’ Jr, Bryce and daughter Zhuri.
LeBron and Savannah met at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, before developing their relationship throughout their teens, 20s and beyond.
The first of the couple’s children, Bronny, was born in 2004, nine years before Mr and Mrs James tied the knot. A future NBA prospect, Bronny has recently enrolled at USC and will embark on his first college season pending a health review, given the recent heart scare.
Bryce was born three years later than Bronny, in 2007. Bryce is also a future prospect, already showing his talents at high school level.
Last but not least, Zhuri was born in 2014, and still only nine years of age, the has featured regularly on the couple’s ever-growing social media pages.
