Travis Scott, one of the biggest names in music, had an unexpected run-in with security during the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Clippers on Tuesday night.
While attending the game courtside with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and his daughter Kylie, Scott was almost tackled by a security guard at the Intuit Dome.

Despite being an internationally recognized artist, Scott was momentarily mistaken for someone else as he attempted to leave the floor after the game.
Dressed in a brown coat, green shirt, and a chain, the rapper walked past a security guard, who failed to recognize him.
The guard, unsure of who Scott was, quickly grabbed the back of his coat, preventing his exit.
Scott tried to pull away, but the guard’s firm hold delayed his progress.
Onlookers, including nearby staff, quickly intervened, and Scott was freed from the situation without harm.
The rapper adjusted his jacket and walked off the court, seemingly unfazed by the brief altercation.
Fans in the venue watched in disbelief as the incident unfolded, but it was resolved swiftly, with no injuries or significant damage.
Neither the Clippers nor Intuit Dome officials have commented on the event, but it’s clear that the mix-up was simply a case of mistaken identity.
Scott, known for hits like “SICKO MODE,” has performed on major stages, including the Super Bowl halftime show in 2019, making this run-in all the more surprising.
His career continues to soar, with his latest track, “4X4,” debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 just days earlier.
