The Undertaker was born Mark William Calaway on March 24, 1965 in Houston, Texas. That’s why his first wrestling pseudonym was ‘Texas Red’. The American has been involved in wrestling for a lifetime, 33 years to be precise, and 30 years ago he joined the WWE until his retirement on November 22, 2022.
Now, at 57, Calaway can boast of being the most remembered wrestler in WWE history. He has been a member of WWE’s Hall of Fame since 2022 and has a record to back it up: four-time WWE Champion, seven World Championships and the Wrestlemania record, having won all 21 editions of Wrestlemania until his loss to Brock Lesnar in 2014.
As age took its toll on The Undertaker‘s health, he no longer appeared week-to-week in WWE since 2010, appearing only on special occasions. A hip operation was the cause of a step aside of the wrestler, who experienced a great physical change, but remained the most acclaimed.

The ‘Undertaker‘ said goodbye to the show with a stellar fight against AJ Styles and, following his retirement, he enjoys his free time with his wife and children. One of his interests is also politics. Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer claimed in 2020 that Mark had donated to Donald Trump‘s re-election campaign.
