Antonela Roccuzzo did not travel with her husband, Lionel Messi, to Argentina as she had to honor commitments elsewhere in Mexico.
The influencer travelled to an important event for Tiffany & Co, as she was listed as a special guest for the jewellery brand.

She uploaded several photos of the event to her Instagram, including on a proverbial red carpet in a white dress with a couple of her participating at the social occasion.
But due to the calendar clash, she could not accompany her husband on his most recent return to Argentina since joining Inter Miami.
Messi stars against Ecuador
Despite the absence of his wife, Messi did not disappoint his home nation as Argentina played their first World Cup game since winning the tournament in 2022.
The legendary footballer once again proved to be the difference for Lionel Scaloni‘s side as he scored a fantastic freekick to earn la Albiceleste a 1-0 victory against Ecuador.
Messi stepped up with 12 minutes remaining to fire a the freekick, from around 20 yards out, to the goalkeeper’s right hand side. The despairing goalkeeper took one step towards the ball before sinking to his knees as Messi’s shot flew into the top corner.
Despite being around 4700 miles away, Roccuzzo was still in the loop with her husband’s performance and celebrated his match-winning goal on social media.
Messi will next take to the field on Tuesday September 12th, as his nation plays away against Bolivia.
