Mia Khalifa is facing another setback as her earnings on the Pornhub platform have been frozen and subsequently allocated to support Israel, following her vocal support for Palestine. Khalifa‘s public stance in favor of Palestine during the conflict led to this decision.
The move by Pornhub to freeze her earnings comes after a controversial statement she made in support of Hamas as reported by MSNBC.
Playboy also severed ties with Mia Khalifa. They reiterated their commitment to free expression but noted their zero-tolerance policy for hate speech.
“We are writing today to let you know of our decision to terminate Playboy’s relationship with Mia Khalifa, including Mia’s Playboy channel on our creator platform,” the statement read.
“Mia has made disgusting and reprehensible comments celebrating Hamas’ attacks on Israel and the murder of innocent men, women and children.
“At Playboy, we encourage free expression and constructive political debate, but we have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech. We expect Mia to understand her words have actions and consequences.”
