Michael Gambon died last September 27, 2023 at the age of 83 after failing to overcome pneumonia.
The actor, known for his role as Albus Dumbledore in the ‘Harry Potter’ saga, left behind his wife, Anne Miller. The woman is one of those affected by the actor’s estate, but she is joined by Gambon’s lover and the children he had with her.
The actor met Phillipa Hart on the set of ‘Longitude’ in 2000 and had an extramarital affair. As a result, Tom and William, 17 and 15 years old respectively, were born. It was expected that, although the three were not his main family, they were going to be part of the inheritance.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Michael Gambon decided that neither Hart nor the children he had with her would take his millionaire fortune amassed from a hugely successful career. Thus, the actor’s double life concludes with all of the money going to Anne Miller and her firstborn.

Apparently, the last will and testament dates back to 2016 and in it, he decided to whom and how the two million euros in which his fortune would be split. The younger children have received 11,000 euros each, and he has also passed on two objects of little value: a silver heart-shaped award of the Variety Club of Great Britain from the years 1987 and 2000.
Of the rest of the money, Phillipa Hart will see nothing and, instead, it will go entirely to his wife, Anne Miller, and his eldest son. The English press speculates that Gambon wanted to reward his wife, since she agreed at the time that the actor could live with Hart and his children, leading a double life.
