Mickey Rourke is getting ready to make a return, but it's not in a movie on the silver screen. No, Rourke is getting ready to try his hand at the sport of boxing one more time, and he's enlisted the services of Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach.
Rourke, 62, will be stepping back into the boxing ring on Nov. 28 in Moscow, where he will take on 29-year-old Elliott Seymour.

Before anyone begins to think this is a publicity stunt, Rourke was quick to point out that the sport is a serious part of his life.
"Boxing is a serious part of my life," Rourke told Russia’s Sovetsky Sport, according to For the Win. "It taught me respect and determination, patience and concentration. I always dreamed of fighting a match in Russia."
Rourke originally fought in the ring from 1964 to '73, ending his original run as a boxer with a record of 27-3. He would return to the ring in 1991, with Roach at his side, before getting the ball rolling on what has been a pretty successful acting career, including notable roles in movies such as Sin City and The Wrestler.
Rourke's opponent, Seymour, has a 1-8 record, so we'll see if the man in his 60s can take down someone more than 30 years younger.
