Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni last couple of days have been a sweet dream come true: his team beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX 40-22.
The Eagles 2024 season was one of their best in franchise’s history, winning 18 of 21 games. None of them more important than beating the back-to-back champions of the NFL and iconic players such as quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and legendary coach Andy Reid.
The No. 1-ranked defense in the NFL held the Chiefs to – 3 rushing yards on 3 carries. Patrick Mahomes was just 6 of 14 for 33 passing yards, and the Eagles played such an aggressive, perfect “Crush Rush” that Mahomes could not escape with his legs or his skills.
Sirianni has a night to remember
In his fourth season as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles,Nick Sirianni took the team to the promised land and also recorded the most victories by a head coach in their first four years with the Eagles as well as the highest winning percentage by a head coach in franchise history.
After beating the Chiefs, Sirianni and his players celebrated as hard as they could with music and busting the dance moves. The Eagles head coach was caught on a stage as he danced to the smashing hit “My Prerogative” by R&B legend Bobby Brown, who was married to legendary singer Whitney Houston.

“Everybody’s talking all this stuff about me (now, now), why don’t they just let me live? I don’t need permission, make my own decisions. That’s, that’s my prerogative.” are the lyrics that Sirianni sang loud in front of a packed dance club, and everybody loved it.
The product of a family of football coaches and educators, Sirianni developed a curriculum for building a winning culture that is grounded in five core values – connect, compete, accountability, football IQ, and fundamentals. Through these principles, he has led Philadelphia to four consecutive postseason berths.
The Eagles were better all around
The Philadelphia Eagles were just better than the Kansas City Chiefs. A far better roster. More physical. A team came out of the gates smoking and just kept pouring gasoline on the fire. That’s what it was like for the Eagles in the incredible Super Bowl LIX performance.
Now, the Eagles have won Super Bowls LII and LIX. They have been to four Super Bowls since 2004, three since the 2017 season and two in the last three campaigns. Head coach Nick Sirianni is one of the best coaches in the NFL and the 2024 edition of the Eagles is one of the best in NFL history, winning 18 of 21 games and that is not up for dispute.

And, finally, Philadelphia used the two weeks between the NFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl wisely and put together great game plans. They were the better-prepared team, they were the hungrier team, they were the most talented team and they sure were the better team.
