They are here. Three years later, the world’s biggest sporting event returns to our lives. Following the changes in 2020, the IOC continues with the intention of modernizing, aiming to attract young fans to the event. In addition to the inclusion of sports like sport climbing, surfing, and skateboarding in Tokyo 2020, breakdancing is being added to these Paris Games.
Alongside adding sports, some have also been removed from the Olympic list. In this Paris edition, disciplines such as karate and baseball, which were featured in previous Olympic Games, are no longer present.
Lately, many fans have been surprised by some of the sports included in this event. Some of the most unusual ones are 3×3 basketball, breakdancing, BMX, skateboarding, sport climbing, and Rugby 7s.
