Hollywood’s beloved comedic genius Jack Black has once again proven he’s the king of hilarity-and flexibility-after an unexpected encounter with a paparazzo on an Australian beach.
Black, 55, is currently in Queensland filming a reboot of the 1997 thriller Anaconda alongside Paul Rudd but took a break from the set to soak up some sun on the Gold Coast.
Dressed in Tenacious D “Satan” board shorts and a tie-dye T-shirt, Black was enjoying a game of frisbee and a dip in the ocean when a bold tabloid photographer approached him. Rather than shying away, Black decided to give the man-and his camera-a scene straight out of Kung Fu Panda.
In a hilarious clip captured on the paparazzo’s Google glasses, the School of Rock star is seen playfully “attacking” with high kicks, stunt punches, and over-the-top cartoonish sound effects.

Netizens loved Black’s display
Black’s moves, surprisingly nimble for his age, left fans in stitches when the footage hit social media. One beachgoer, who filmed the antics from afar, sent the clip to a popular comedy Instagram page, where it instantly went viral.
Comments poured in, with one fan joking, “Big fella’s got some flexibility. Good on him!” Another quipped, “I thought it was a Jack Black impersonator… then he turned around!”
The actor’s energy didn’t stop at martial arts. Black, accessorized with dark shades, a beige Akubra hat, and a baby pink Langham Hotel beach bag, showed off his lighter side with a barefoot game of frisbee on the sand.
Black has nothing to envy Po
Fans speculated that Black’s Kung Fu-inspired moves were a nod to his Kung Fu Panda character, Po. Just weeks ago, the actor shared a gym video with his 14.2 million Instagram followers, proving that even at 55, he’s staying fit and ready for action.
The viral beach skit is yet another reminder of why Black remains a fan favorite. Whether on-screen or off, he’s always ready to entertain-and maybe even throw in a high kick or two!
