Arnold Schwarzenegger has lost a record he held for 57 years! The actor was a world-class bodybuilder in his day and winner of plenty of competitions.
In fact, he still held one. That of champion of the National Physique Committee (NPC), the main amateur bodybuilding organisation in the United States. But that record has been snatched away from him.
It was 19-year-old bodybuilder Anton Ratushnyi who took his crown. He has just become the youngest ever Pro-Card contender, after securing three titles from the National Physique Committee (NPC), the premier amateur bodybuilding organisation in the United States.

Ratushnyi is already looking in the rear-view mirror at Schwarzenegger. That’s because he is aiming to become the next Mr, Olympia champion in a few years’ time. But for the time being he has broken the actor’s record for the best bodybuilding record, which he held for more than half a century.
He is 6ft 3in tall and weighs 111kg, and has achieved his impressive physique thanks to strict training programmes and a controlled nutrition plan.
Schwarzenegger, who, in addition to his historic Mr. Universe at the age of 20, won the Mr. Olympia title seven times, winning his first victory at the age of 23, making him the youngest champion in history.
