Shannon Sharpe took to social media on Friday to claim that he has Skip Bayless “under control” as the crew from Inside the NBA on TNT, including Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, mocked the co-hosts of Fox Sports 1‘s Undisputed.
Sharpe, 54, replied to a Twitter user who said that next time Bayless, 71, acts up, “the hood” would storm their set on live television.
“Don’t storm the fox lot like the Capitol,” Sharpe said. “I’ve got it under control and we’re good. I ABSOLUTELY appreciate the love and support I’ve been shown by the fans.”
Bayless recently came under fire for his awful take following the Damar Hamlin injury and Sharpe did not show up to the show the next day.
On the day of his return, Sharpe was trying to explain why Bayless should take his tweet down, but the latter would go on to interrupt him before the former got to his point.

Bayless has become the laughing stock of the sports world over his endless hot takes that continue to land him in hotter water.
O’Neal, 50, and Barkley, 59, made fun of the Undisputed co-hosts during their Inside the NBA show.
“It’s the first show of the year and you’re already interrupting him. Can he finish his monologue?” Barkley asked.
O’Neal could not contain his laughter as Ernie Johnson tried to get the pair of jokesters to stop.
