Disney CEO Bob Iger is rumored to be on the hunt for an offer in order to sell the company and we might have a clue to why this is happening. Signs that the multi billion company is losing power are becoming more evident by the minute. One of the main issues people seem to be pointing out lately is the liberal agenda many of these shows have. Fans made it very clear they weren’t happy with those diversity hires taking place in Disney but the studios haven’t listened to the people’s wishes. They keep maing these types of hires and completely undermine the fans. The latest of these moves came from the new live action Snow White production. Where the producers decided to completely get rid of the seven dwarves.
In a picture that is making the rounds about the film, there only appears to be one dwarf in the group of seven. Instead of more little people, the Disney production decided to hire a diverse group of people with normal heights. They have two African Americans (one seems to be a woman), two caucasians, one Latino, and a dwarf. This wasn’t taken well by almost anybody, especially given that Snow White was the first-ever Disney Animated film to be nominated for the Academy Awards. News sites are reporting this story as the latest woke bias from the company but there is an important group who is being almost completely ignored.
Hollywood’s struggling group og dwarf actors
If you think about it, there aren’t many acting roles coming out of rhe little people community. Only a handful of them are considered stars but the vast majority is not getting gigs on a regular basis. Actor Dylan Posti appeared on Piers Morgan: Uncensored to talk about the unfairness of productions like Snow White getting completely rid of dwarf actors. Disney doesn’t seem to understand that in their attempt to be inclusive, they are also excluding an important group of historically marginalized people within the entertainment industry. That is one of the main reasons people are not watching any more Disney content, there is no way to deny this anymore.
