In our case, and in the case of many other players and teammates, it was impossible. The Mavericks, under no circumstances, accepted the trade. At least according to the conditions established by both teams and with Anthony Davis as the main protagonist.

This situation is very different from the real world, since the Dallas Mavericks General Manager believes that they have made a great move and that the future of both the team and the NBA is to build a solid defense.
In other words, from his perspective, Doncic was not only a tradable player, but the Mavs have come out on top with this move. Few agree with him, as most believe he has lost one of the best players in the league.
In fact, Doncic is only 25 years old, so we are not talking about a player whose projection is in decline because of age; he still has a lot of basketball left in him.
With his signing, the Lakers have built one of the most powerful lineups in their conference and have become one of the biggest contenders for this year’s championship. In addition, they have closed a deal that allows them to think about both the present and the future.
It is logical, under this premise, that in NBA 2K25 it is an almost impossible signing if you ‘only’ offer Anthony Davis.
