Diana Agron spoke openly about the Taylor Swift dating rumors during 2011 and 2012. Agron candidly shut down the idea that they were in a romantic relationship together and that she was the inspiration for the song “22”.
Agron claims they were just good friends
When speaking to Rolling Stone, she said that she’d be so lucky to have been the reason for the song, “Me? Oh, if only! That’s more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song. But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!“
The Glee alum also mentioned that it was very funny to hear what the fans came up with when it was clear that Taylor Swift and she were just friends.
She elaborated on that saying “That is so interesting, I… I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That’s funny.“

As many fans know, Taylor Swift and Agron have been outspoken about equality and are strong supporters of the LGBTQAI+ community, so it was suggested that when both women were hanging out a lot, they were actually in a relationship.
However, there hasn’t been any proof that there was any type of physical relationship between both women and they have been public with their relationships with men, including when Agron married Mumford & Sons musician Winston Marshall and were together for three years until they divorced in 2020.
Agron also mentioned that she ‘casually dated’ Bradley Cooper, while also having been in a relationship with Nicholas Hoult, and Thomas Cocquerel. Currently, she is rumored to have a thing with Harold Ancart as they were spotted showing PDA and kissing in November.
Now it seems that Taylor Swift is supposedly dating 1975’s Matty Healy after having dated Joe Alwyn for six years.
