The celebrations for the arrival of the year 2025 went from joy to pain in New Orleans, after a terrorist rammed into a crowd that was celebrating the New Year. This attack cost the lives of 14 people and put the security of New Orleans in the spotlight in the United States.
With the city of New Orleans hosting the Super Bowl, the city’s authorities and agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have deployed impressive operations to prevent any problems before, during and after the Super Bowl.

“I’m sure the safest place this weekend will be under the security umbrella we have installed around the Superdome,” said Cathy L. Lanier, the NFL’s head of security, who is leading the security efforts at the Saints’ stadium
In the same vein, Kristi Noem, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, agreed, assuring that the unfortunate incidents of January 1 will not happen again in New Orleans.

The security operation around the Super Bowl led the FBI to deploy 450 agents in the city, while the Department of Homeland Security sent 750 agents to safeguard the safety of those attending the Caesars Super Dome.
Jeff Landry, the governor of the state of Louisiana, agreed with the state government official and guaranteed that there will be no unpleasant surprises. “Our citizens have seen death and destruction in a place that represents all of America,” he said
