Mishel Gerzig has been the latest prominent voice to speak out on the issue of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, which is impacting Palestinian civilians.
She has done so by taking a very clear stand against the terrorist group Hamas, who are responsible for the terrorist attacks on Israeli soil last Saturday.
“Hamas is a terrorist group that is against anyone who doesn’t look like them, whether they are white, gay or Jewish,” Gerzig declared.
The model, who married the Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, during the summer, completed her compulsory military service with the Israel Defense Forces when she turned 18.

She put aside her modeling career to in order to fulfil the requirement for all Israeli citizens once they reach the age of 18.
“I was captain of rescue ships with 15 soldiers under my command,” Gerzig explained.
Despite having to temporarily abandon what is now her job, she admits that she was ‘very proud’ to serve her country, as well as describing it as a positive experience in her life.
“It was an experience that allowed me to meet wonderful people,” she added.
Condemned terrorist attacks on Isreal
The model has a deep-rooted attachment to her country and wanted to come out to defend its interests and condemn the attacks her people were victims of a week ago.
“It’s not about Palestine or Israel, it’s about humanity. Hamas is a terrorist organization that kills anyone who gets in its way, even those who are Palestinians,” she wrote on her social media pages.
“Everyone I know knows someone who has been killed, gone missing or been injured in the last few days.”
In other more recent posts she raised her voice calling on Hamas to release the hostages they took during the attacks on Israel.
“I can’t even imagine what they do to those they kidnap, holding them hostage inside Gaza. Bring the families back home! And safely!”
