Jared Goff‘s wife have made a selfless gesture to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires by announcing they’re auctioning two tickets to the NFC Divisional Game when the Detroit Lions take on the Washington Commanders.
Blazes have devastated the region since Tuesday, January 7 and have killed over 25 people, displaced over 200,000 and destroyed 40,000 acres of land including sites such as Pacific Palisades, Hollywood Hills and Sunset Boulevard.
The disaster has prompted a wave of humanitarian support from celebrities and organizations across the United States, but this comes from a personal place for the Lions’ quarterback and Christen Harper, who are from the area.
So they’re looking for any chance to help and they managed to come up with one idea by linking up with a Michigan-based company to offer tickets to the NFL Playoffs clash in Motown on Saturday.

“Crain Homes, in partnership with the Goff family and California Strong, is honored to support recovery efforts for families and individuals affected by the Pasadena wildfires,” a statement from Crain Homes read. “To help, we are auctioning two Detroit Lions tickets for the NFC Divisional Round against the Washington Commanders on January 18th at Ford Field.
“With all proceeds going directly to CaliforniaStrong.org, an organization providing vital resources to communities impacted by those wildfires.”
What do the tickets include?
Christen revealed the tickets will include two first row seats along with tunnel access and all-inclusive food and drinks, as she shared a link to the bidding site on her own personal Instagram account.
Goff played for the Los Angeles Rams from 2016-2020 before being sent to the Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford. The 30-year-old was born in Novato, California, which is located close to San Francisco.
So whilst he will hope the Lions secure their spot in the NFC Conference Championship, there will no doubt be one eye watching to see how the Rams are getting on against the Philadelphia Eagles.
