Eddie Hearn found himself in the middle of a very serious situation in Miami as the famous boxing promoter had to fight off armed robbers at a Rolex shop.
Hearn is the chairman of Matchroom Sports and the Professional Darts Corporation and he has gained notoriety on the internet over the years for his funny reactions that are used as memes.
There was nothing funny about what happened in Miami though, as he was reportedly attacked by armed robbers and ended up being hospitalized.
He was treated for a wound on his leg at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The news was first reported by Sky Sports News and later shared on social media by Michael Bensonn.
“Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has reportedly fought off 4 armed robbers in a rolex store in Miami with a wound on his leg. He is now being treated in Jackson Memorial Hospital at this current time. [Sky Sports News],” the message read.
